Hammer Toe Relief

Having your toes bent for long periods of time can cause the muscles in them to shorten, resulting in a hammer toe deformity. In poorly fitting shoes or high heels, the foot slides forward and the toes are forced up against the toe of the shoe. This causes the toe to be bent unnaturally. Normally, your toes are straight with just a slight downward curve. With a hammertoe they're bent to the side at the joint and the toe cannot stretch. If the hammertoe is severe, it may be a candidate for surgery. ![]()
Solutions to get your feet feeling better fast include toe stretching and foot exercises. The Achilles Tendon and calf muscle becomes tight from high heels, so it's important to actively perform stretches. Also, the nature of high heels causes the toes to buckle and contract, and can specifically result in hammer toe. Yoga is an excellent method to stay stretched. Perform simple range-of-motion exercises of the ankles as it keeps the blood flowing within the foot and can help remove excess fluids (swelling) in the lower leg. This is best accomplished by moving the foot up, down, left, right, and in circles. Try these exercises: SmartToes™ advanced design helps straighten and align your toes and feet, stretch your Achilles Tendon, and provide hammer toe and bunion relief.

I cannot believe the difference in just the last 2 weeks! I have them on as I type this so I can give you a glimpse of the feeling. They are soft and pliable, yet still strong enough. I highly recommend these for anyone who has hammer toes, like me, or other specific foot problems, or even if your feet are just “tired” all the time. It feels like a full body massage. Great product!
